Information in an enquiry
The enquiry form asks for contact details and a short description of the help you want. Use it to tell us about the business, the type of bookkeeping work and how to reach you. That information is used to respond, discuss the requested service and manage the resulting correspondence.
Do not include social insurance numbers, banking passwords, account numbers, tax returns, employee payroll files or cryptocurrency private keys. If a bookkeeping engagement proceeds, agree on the approved document-sharing channel before transferring financial records. The handling of client records is addressed in the service arrangement.
Calculators and browser storage
Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. Running a calculator does not submit an enquiry. When you choose its enquiry button, a summary is saved in this browser tab’s session storage and shown beside the contact form. The website stops accepting that stored summary after 30 minutes. Closing the tab normally clears its session storage; browser restore settings may preserve a session.
The summary is included in the hosted form’s web address to prefill its editable message field. Review it before submitting. You can also copy the displayed summary. If browser storage is unavailable, the enquiry button opens the same form directly with the summary prefilled. Choose non-sensitive planning figures. The 30-minute limit applies to the browser handoff, not to information already sent to a form provider or submitted in an enquiry.
The hosted contact form
Our city websites use the same contact form supplied through LeadConnector/HighLevel. Loading it connects your browser to that provider and can disclose technical information such as your IP address and browser details. The embed also sends the hosting page address, query parameters and referring information to the provider. Website attribution helps identify which city website an enquiry came from and route the response. The provider may use cookies or similar storage to operate and protect the form. Information you enter or submit is handled through that hosted service; the provider’s notice explains its own processing.
Website hosting and service providers may process technical or enquiry information in Canada or other countries. A public enquiry form is not a secure client document portal. If you prefer another way to make an initial enquiry, use the contact option below and ask to arrange an alternative.
Retention, access and questions
Enquiry records are kept for responding to the request, managing related correspondence and any resulting service relationship, and meeting applicable recordkeeping obligations. This website does not automatically delete submitted enquiries after 30 minutes.
You can ask what enquiry information is held, request a correction, ask about deletion or withdraw consent to further optional contact. Some information may need to be retained for an existing engagement or a legal obligation. Identity may need to be confirmed before personal information is released or changed. Please describe your request without including financial records in the first message.
Changes to this notice
The date at the top identifies this version. If the website’s enquiry or calculator handling changes, the notice should be updated to describe that change. External websites and hosted services have their own privacy practices.
